Wahlert girls rally past Kennedy keglers

DUBUQUE - Kennedy's Amanda Wiedemeier shot high game of 244, but the Cougars faded in the Baker round and were beaten by Dubuque Wahlert, 2393-2350, Friday in girls bowling at Cherry Lanes.

Kennedy held a 71-pin lead after the first round, but Wahlert won the first four games of the Baker round to rally for the win.

Allie McQuiston shot a 180 for Kennedy and had a 338 series. Wiedemeier shot a 387 series.
