Jefferson whipped Maquoketa and Linn-Mar tied with Iowa City Regina to highlight the girls soccer jamboree Tuesday at Kingston Stadium.

Jefferson beat Maquoketa 4-0. Katie Ives had two goals, and Shalyn Kinney and Katie Dierks added a goal apiece for the J-Hawks.

Molly Brandt scored a goal and Linn-Mar tied top-ranked Class 1A Regina, 1-1.

Class 3A No. 5 Iowa City West beat Marion, 2-0.

Class 3A No. 9 Cedar Rapids Washington played to a 0-0 tie with Class 1A No. 7 Center Point-Urbana.

Iowa City High crushed Mount Vernon 7-0 in the other matchup.

The games were 40 minutes, or one half of a regular game. They do not count on a team's record.
