Xavier remained atop the Class 2A poll and Prairie broke into the ranks at No. 15 in the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union girls soccer rankings released Thursday.

Prairie's only loss is to Xavier. The Hawks (2-1) blanked Iowa City High, 4-0, Tuesday to stake their claim in the poll.

Kennedy (3-0) is still ranked No. 6 in Class 3A and Washington held onto its No. 9 ranking, despite a 3-0 loss to No. 5 Iowa City West on Tuesday.
