Undefeated Xavier held onto the top spot in the Class 2A Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union soccer poll released Thursday.

Xavier (4-0) is gunning for its seventh straight state championship this season.

Prairie (6-2) is ranked 12th in Class 2A.

Kennedy (4-0) is ranked fifth and Washington (2-1) is ninth in the Class 3A poll.

Bettendorf is ranked No. 1 in Class 3A.
