J-Hawk netters trimmed by Waterloo West

WATERLOO - The Cedar Rapids Jefferson boys tennis team took a 4-2 lead in the single competition Wednesday at Waterloo West, but the J-Hawks could not finish the job.

Waterloo West swept all three doubles matches and clipped Jefferson, 5-4, in a Mississippi Valley Conference meet.

Jacob Donald, Colten Jourdan, Daniel Britton and Zach Denny won their singles matches for the J-Hawks.

4. Daniel Britton (CRJ) def. Derick Vaughn, 4-6, 6-4, 10-5.
