Cedar Rapids Kennedy stayed in the No. 2 spot behind Ankeny in the new Class 4A baseball rankings Tuesday.

The Cougars (24-4) have been ranked No. 1 or No. 2 all season by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association.

The Linn-Mar Lions (22-8) stayed in the No. 8 spot in the 4A rankings this week. Linn-Mar leads the Mississippi Division standings in the MVC with a 17-3 record, with Kennedy a half-game behind with a 17-4 mark.

The Marion Indians, ranked No. 8 in Class 3A last week, dropped out of the poll this week.
