WATERLOO - Waterloo Columbus High School has decided to leave the Wamac Conference after the 2012-13 school year and join the North Iowa Cedar League.
The switch will mean shorter trips for the Sailors.
Union High School of LaPorte is a possible replacement for Columbus in the Wamac, which currently has 16 teams. Marion is a member of the conference.
