Only one playoff berth was earned in the eastern half of the state in Class 4A football Friday night.
Bettendorf (5-2) locked up a spot with its 37-0 win over Burlington.
Eight of the possible 16 berths in the eastern half of the state have been decided. Seven teams locked up berths last week.
In the Metro, Xavier (7-0) has clinched a berth. If the season ended today, Prairie and Kennedy and Linn-Mar would be in the playoff field.
There are two weeks remaining in the season.
Four teams in the western half of the state locked up playoff berths Friday night. They are Sioux City East and West Des Moines Valley in Division 1, Ankeny in Division 2 and Southeast Polk in Division 4.
