TAMA - Jeremy Strutz poured in 32 points for Cedar Valley Christian Monday night but it wasn't quite enough for the Huskies to come home with a victory.

The Meskwaki Settlement School trimmed the Huskies, 59-52, in Tama.

Strutz made four 3-pointers for Cedar Valley Christian (0-2). Evan Koch chipped in with eight points for the Huskies.

Royce Timberwolf hit five 3-pointers and led Meskwaki (2-1) with 24 points.

Cedar Valley Christian led at halftime, 33-30.
