Martin resigns as Xavier boys tennis coach
Rob Martin has resigned as the boys tennis coach at Xavier High School, the school announced Wednesday.
Martin was the head coach the past two seasons. The Saints were 8-5 in the MVC and 10-5 overall this year. They placed second in the MVC Valley Division. Martin's two-year record was 15-15.
"Coach Martin did an outstanding job for our boys tennis program. We will miss him at Xavier," Saints Athletic Director Mike Winker said in a written statement.
Winker said a search for a new coach will begin immediately.
Martin also is an assistant wrestling and baseball coach at Jefferson.
