Cedar Valley Christian - Girls Basketball

Hembera nets double-double for Huskies

SPRINGVILLE – Molly Hembera scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the Cedar Valley Christian girls basketball team in a 72-41 loss to Calamus-Wheatland in a Tri-Rivers Conference game Tuesday.

Candace Wilson added 13 points for the Huskies (5-10).

Jaelyn Diercks scored 16 points for the Warriors (7-11).

Wilson stars for CVC girls in loss

SPRINGVILLE – Candace Wilson had 26 points, 16 rebounds and seven steals, but the Cedar Valley Christian girls basketball team suffered a 50-48 loss to Central City in a Tri-Rivers Conference game on Friday.

Maggie Cach added 12 points for the Huskies (5-10).

Madison Trile led the Wildcats with 16 points.

Wilson leads CVC girls in setback

BELLEVUE – Candace Wilson scored 19 points and had seven rebounds, but the Cedar Valley Christian girls basketball team suffered a 58-38 loss to Bellevue Marquette in a Tri-Rivers Conference game Tuesday.

Molly Hembera added 10 points and had seven rebounds for the Huskies (5-9).

Marissa Schroeder scored 20 points for the Mohawks (9-3).

CVC girls fall to Easton Valley

SPRINGVILLE – Four players scored in double figures for the Cedar Valley Christian girls basketball team, but the Huskies lost to Easton Valley 65-52 in a Tri-Rivers Conference game Friday.

Maggie Cach scored 13 points for Cedar Valley (5-8), Emma Slagle and Candace Wilson each scored 11 points and Elisabeth Fields had 10 points.

Kalli Miller scored 21 points to lead the River Hawks (9-6).

SPRINGVILLE – Candace Wilson collected 19 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and seven steals to lead the Cedar Valley Christian girls basketball team to a 60-36 win over West Central on Tuesday.

Maggie Cach added 10 points and eight rebounds for Cedar Valley (5-7). Elisabeth Fields also had 10 points and Emma Slagle had nine points.

Kenzie Squires scored 11 points for West Central (1-10).
