Cedar Valley Christian - Volleyball

Cedar Valley spiked by Lisbon

The Cedar Valley Christian volleyball team was defeated by Lisbon, 25-11, 25-16, 25-21, in a Tri-Rivers Conference match at Cedar Valley Tuesday night.

Maggie Cach had four assists for the Huskies and Grace Etzel had four digs.

Cedar Valley Christian - Volleyball

Huskies fall to Cal-Wheatland

Calamus-Wheatland defeated Cedar Valley Christian in a volleyball match at Cedar Valley Thursday night, 25-18, 25-21, 25-23.

Maria Sequeira collected eight digs, six assists, four kills and three aces for the Huskies. Shelby Hembera had nine kills.

Maggie Cach contributed four assists and four digs. Janella Ceballos had five digs. Liz Fields had four digs.

Cedar Valley falls at East Buchanan

WINTHROP - The Cedar Valley Christian volleyball team was defeated by East Buchanan, 25-10, 25-4, 24-26, 25-15, in a Tri-Rivers Conference volleyball match in Winthrop Thursday night.

Shelby Hembera had eight kills and four blocks for the Huskies. Maria Sequeira had five assists. Emma Slagle contributed six digs.

CVC's Sequeira makes all-tourney team

BELLEVUE - The Cedar Valley Christian volleyball team compiled a 1-4 record at the Bellevue Marquette tournament Saturday.

Maria Sequeira of Cedar Valley collected six kills and 10 assists and was named to the all-tournament team. Maggie Cach had eight kills and six assists.

The Huskies lost to Easton Valley (21-9, 21-11), Marquette (21-19, 21-13), Marquette again (21-12, 21-1) and Bellevue (21-7, 21-12). The Huskies defeated Prince of Peace, 21-18, 21-17, and finished fourth in the tournament.
