Cedar Valley Christian - Volleyball

Cedar Valley volleyball sweeps match

CLINTON - The Cedar Valley Christian volleyball team blanked Prince of Peace, 25-16, 25-23, 25-17, Tuesday night in Clinton.

Maggie Cach collected eight kills and four assists for the Huskies. Candace Wilson finished with 11 assists, eight digs and four kills.

Emma Slagle contributed nine digs and Nicole Hartmann had five kills.

 

Cedar Valley Christian - Volleyball

Cedar Valley spiked by Alburnett

ALBURNETT - The Cedar Valley Christian volleyball team lost to Alburnett, 25-14, 25-17, 25-16, in a Tri-Rivers Conference match Thursday night in Alburnett.

Emma Slagle collected 13 digs for the Huskies. Candace Wilson had five assists and Nicole Hartmann contributed four kills.

Cedar Valley spiked by GMG

The Cedar Valley Christian volleyball team lost to GMG Thursday night, 25-19, 25-21, 25-22, in a match at Cedar Valley.

Maggie Cach collected eight kills and four aces for Cedar Valley. Emma Slagle had eight digs and Jaalah Schmidt had five assists.

Cedar Valley ends with 5-20 mark

CENTRAL CITY - The Huskies from Cedar Valley Christian put up a good fight Tuesday night before falling to Central City, 27-25, 25-20, 26-24, in the opening round of the Class 1A regional volleyball tournament in Central City.

The Huskies finished the season with a 5-20 record.

Maria Sequeira collected four kills, seven assists and six digs for Cedar Valley. Nicole Hartman finished with six kills.

Shelby Hembera had five kills and two blocks. Grace Etzel had 10 digs and Janella Ceballos had six digs.

CVC volleyball falls at Midland

WYOMING - The Cedar Valley Christian volleyball team lost to Midland of Wyoming, 26-24, 25-13 25-19, Tuesday night on the road.

Maggie Cach had five digs and four assists for the Huskies. Grace Etzel had six digs.
