CLERMONT, Fla. - The Coe softball team raised its record to 8-1 Friday with a pair of victories on its spring trip in Florida.

Maddison Woodruff (4-0) tossed a four-hitter with seven strikeouts in the victory over John Carroll. Brianna Gardner and Abby Flannagan had two hits.

Coe is scheduled to play its final two games Saturday morning before heading back to Cedar Rapids.
