J-Hawks trim Rams in boys tennis

DUBUQUE - Jacob Donald, Alex Tvedte, Jason Chung and Kellen Brown won their singles matches Tuesday as Jefferson clipped Dubuque Senior, 5-4, in a Mississippi Valley Conference tennis meet.

Chung and Brown collected a crucial point for the J-Hawks at No.3 doubles.

Jacob Donald, Nate Weger, Alex Tvedte and Kellen Brown won their singles matches Saturday as Jefferson clipped Prairie, 7-2, in a Mississippi Valley Conference tennis meet at Prairie.

Donald defeated Connor Anthony at No.1 singles, 6-0, 6-1.

Jackson Hoyt defeated Jacob Donald at No.1 singles, 6-2, 6-3, Thursday as the Washington Warriors clipped Jefferson, 8-1, in a Mississippi Valley Conference tennis meet at Washington.

Ian Schweiger, Parker Muller, Oliver Hammond, Dane Van Antwerp and Ian McElree also won their singles matches for the Warriors.

Donald and Alex Tvedt picked up a point for the J-Hawks at No.1 doubles.

Jacob Donald and Kellen Brown won both of their singles matches Saturday as the Jefferson J-Hawks split Mississippi Valley Conference tennis meets at Jefferson.

The J-Hawks clipped Hempstead, 6-3, and lost to Wahlert by the same score.

Donald won both of his contests at No. 1 singles.
