J-Hawks stunned by Waterloo West in boys tennis
Jefferson won four of six singles matches, but was blanked in doubles and was beaten by Waterloo West, 5-4, Thursday in a Mississippi Valley Conference boys tennis meet at Jefferson.
The J-Hawks won a pair of matches in tiebreaker sets in singles, but suffered a crushing blow when Colten Jourdan lost a 10-8 tiebreaker to Tom Richter in No. 6 singles.
West won all three doubles matches in straight sets.
