J-Hawks top Cougars in girls bowling

Megan Kitzmiller rolled a 358 series Monday to help Jefferson trim Kennedy, 2369-2296, in a Mississippi Valley Conference girls bowling meet at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Jamie Milota of Kennedy turned in the best game with a 214 and bowled a 357 series to finish just one pin behind Kitzmiller.

JEFFERSON: Megan Kitzmiller 166+192=358, Madison Rasmussen 146+188=334, Hailey Kimble 169+160=329, Allie Schirmer 146+144=290, Lauren Sheets 120+128=248, Maddie Kisling 99+148=247.

KENNEDY: Jamie Milota 143+214=357, Jill Zaiser 154+164=318, Alyssa Wiedemeier 128+147=275, Abbie Haller 119+126=245, Sam Eltze 107+125=232, Sydney Helms 100+112=212.

Jefferson: 1559 + 810 = 2369.
Kennedy: 1427 + 869 = 2296.

Eltze leads Kennedy girls in bowling

Sam Eltze had a 156 game and a 271 series to lead the Kennedy girls bowling team to a 1,854 to 1,427 win over Iowa City High on Thursday at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Ciarra Butikofer had a 210 series for the Little Hawks.

IOWA CITY HIGH: Ciarra Butikofer 109-101=210, Sara Lamarche 85-117=202, Jami Kendall 89-94=183, Alex Murra 94-88=182, Helen Cook 97-82=179.

KENNEDY: Sam Eltze 115-156=271, Mary Liscum 135-129=264, Alli Marshall 144-111=255, Stephanie Walton 112-123=235, Baileigh Allen 111-106=217, Madeline Dvorak 87-120=207.

Iowa City High: 956-471=1,427.

Milota, Wiedemeyer lead Kennedy girls

DUBUQUE – The Kennedy girls bowling team tumbled to Dubuque Hempstead 2,614 pins to 2,252 Tuesday at Cherry Lanes.

Jamie Milota had a 193 game and Alyssa Wiedemeyer had a 334 series to lead the Cougars.

DUBUQUE HEMPSTEAD: Kassidy Gerken 184-192=376, Elisa Schmidt 175-179=354, Natalie Leach 178-154=332, Katlin Weber 155-164=319, Sierra Thurston 168-148=316, Liz Jahn 166-147=313.

Kennedy - Girls Bowling

Milota leads Cougars by Saints

Jamie Milota rolled a 370 series to lead the Kennedy girls bowling team to a 2,435 to 2,010 win over Xavier on Friday at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

Milota also had a high game of 192 for the Cougars.

Tanya Zaugg had a 169 game and a 294 series for the Saints.

Christensen leads Wash girls by Kennedy

Emma Christensen rolled a 374 series to lead the Washington girls bowling team to a 2,270-2,168 win over Kennedy on Tuesday at Lancer Lanes.

Jamie Milota led the Cougars with a 342 series.
