Linn-Mar High School - Marion, Iowa

Bohannon rallies Lions past City High

MARION - Jordan Bohannon scored the go-ahead basket with 13 seconds remaining and sealed the game with a pair of free throws in the final seconds as Linn-Mar downed Iowa City High, 66-63, Friday night at Linn-Mar.

Bohannon, who finished with a game-high 27 points, took a feed from Jordan Brandt, who had made a steal on a City High inbounds pass. The sophomore tossed up a floater that bounced twice on the rim and fell through.

The Lions, 6-5, then made a steal as the Little Hawks raced the ball up the floor. Bohannon was fouled and his two free throws completed the scoring. He was the only Linn-Mar player to finish in double figures.
