Cedar Valley boys dumped by Lynx

SPRINGVILLE – The Cedar Valley Christian boys basketball team trailed 51-9 at halftime and went on to lose to North Linn, 74-25, Friday.

Kelvin Ritter scored seven points for Cedar Valley. Travis Geels had six points, 11 rebounds, four assists and a block.

Cedar Valley is 0-4, while North Linn is 4-0.

Cedar Valley bounced by Marquette

SPRINGVILLE - C.J. Michels scored 24 points Tuesday night and Tanner Sieverding added 17 as Bellevue Marquette defeated Cedar Valley Christian, 67-20, in a boys basketball game at Springville.

Cole Telecky, Mike Scroggs and Travis Geels scored four points apiece for the Huskies (0-3).

Cedar Valley girls fall to Marquette

SPRINGVILLE - The Cedar Valley Christian girls basketball team fell to 0-4 with a 51-37 loss to Bellevue Marquette Tuesday in Springville.

Maggie Cach had 11 points and seven rebounds for Cedar Valley, Molly Hembera had 10 points, Emma Slagle added eight points and Candace Wilson had five assists and six steals.

Bellevue Marquette improved to 3-1

Geels leads Cedar Valley boys

PRESTON - The Cedar Valley Christian boys basketball team lost to Easton Valley, 68-30, Friday night in Preston.

Cam Larson hit five 3-pointers and scored 17 points for Easton Valley.

Travis Geels netted 14 points for Cedar Valley.

Wilson nets 26 as CVC girls fall

PRESTON – Candace Wilson scored 26 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Cedar Valley Christian girls basketball team in a 59-52 loss Friday at Easton Valley.

Cedar Valley fell to 0-2, while Easton Valley improved to 3-1.
