The Cedar Valley Christian volleyball team lost to Easton Valley, 25-19, 25-17, 27-25, Thursday night at Cedar Valley.

Candace Wilson led the Huskies with 10 kills, eight digs and seven assists. Maggie Cach finished with 12 assists, eight digs and six kills.

Emma Slagle had 11 digs for Cedar Valley. Hannah Severson contributed eight digs.

Cedar Valley volleyball sweeps match

CLINTON - The Cedar Valley Christian volleyball team blanked Prince of Peace, 25-16, 25-23, 25-17, Tuesday night in Clinton.

Maggie Cach collected eight kills and four assists for the Huskies. Candace Wilson finished with 11 assists, eight digs and four kills.

Emma Slagle contributed nine digs and Nicole Hartmann had five kills.

Cedar Valley blanked by Central City

The Cedar Valley Christian football team had trouble moving the ball on offense Friday night and lost to Central City, 42-0, in an 8-Player game at the LaSalle Middle School field.

Cedar Valley (1-2) trailed 30-0 at halftime.

Apollo Betsworth made 17 tackles for the Huskies and Travis Geels made 16 stops.

Betsworth carried the ball eight times for 31 yards and caught four passes for 24 yards.

Cedar Valley quarterbacks Cole Telecky and Geels combined to hit 8 of 25 passes for 61 yards and two interceptions.

ALBURNETT - The Cedar Valley Christian volleyball team lost to Alburnett, 25-14, 25-17, 25-16, in a Tri-Rivers Conference match Thursday night in Alburnett.

Emma Slagle collected 13 digs for the Huskies. Candace Wilson had five assists and Nicole Hartmann contributed four kills.
