Marion boys roll to triangular victory

Marion built a 147-pin lead in round one and cruised to victory at a boys bowling triangular Friday at Marion Bowl.

Marion finished with a 2721 score. Denver was second with 2592 and Tripoli third with 2419.

Peter Rethwisch shot high game of 256 and series of 440 to lead Marion. Jonah Miell tossed games of 200 and 223 en route to a 423 and Brandon Bradley had a 238 game.

Denver's Jared Gienau had high series of 459.
