MASON CITY - NIACC scored the last nine points of the game and stunned Kirkwood, 85-80, Wednesday night in junior college men's basketball.
Kirkwood (13-11, 5-4) held an 80-76 lead with just under three minutes to play before NIACC went on its winning run.
Kasey Semler led Kirkwood with 25 points that included four 3-pointers in the first 3:26 of the second half that helped the Eagles erase a 43-37 halftime deficit.
David Humphries came off the bench to score 26 points for NIACC (15-8, 3-5). He scored seven points in the final two minutes.
Taylor Olson added 14 points for Kirkwood.
