Five Marion High School football players plan to continue their careers in college next season.

Zach Borens has signed with Indiana State, Andrew Davis is headed to Iowa Western Community College and Ethen Herren, Trev Biery and Austin Ashley have all signed with Iowa Central Community College.

Borens is a 6-foot-8, 345-pound offensive lineman. Davis, 6-6, 210, made 50 tackles for Marion last season and carried the ball 44 times for 344 yards and five touchdowns.

Biery, 5-9, 225, rushed for 1,252 yards and 18 touchdowns and made 60 tackles. Herren, 6-3, 220, made 80 tackles and caught 15 passes as a tight end.

Ashley, 5-8, 180, also played on both sides of the ball for the Indians.
