Cedar Rapids Xavier is ranked fifth in the final Iowa Girls High School Athletic Association basketball rankings released Tuesday.

The Saints are 12-9 heading into their regional tournament semifinal game Saturday against either Marion or Solon. That game is at Xavier at 7 p.m. Solon plays at Marion on Wednesday.

Cedar Rapids Washington dropped out of the top 10 rankings in Class 5A. The Warriors (15-6) were ranked ninth in the previous poll.

Iowa City High (19-2) moved into the top spot in Class 5A, replacing West Des Moines Dowling. The Maroons fell all the way to No.8.

Sioux City Heelan (18-3) is ranked No.1 in Class 4A.

The Class 3A, 2A and 1A final polls were released last week.
