The Linn-Mar Lions collected a pair of victories in the Linn-Mar/Alburnett softball tournament Saturday.

The Lions dumped Midland, 12-0, in three innings and defeated Don Bosco, 10-1.

Maddy Ryan (6-8) tossed a three-hit shutout for Linn-Mar (10-16) against Midland. She also went 2-for-3 with a double and drove in three runs.

Hannah Yearling went 3-for-3 with a double. Kortlan Ollinger and Madison Rentschler had two hits against Midland. Ryan belted a home run and went 3-for-4 with four RBIs against Don Bosco.
Kortlan Ollinger and Kelsey Duggan had two hits. Elison Ollinger drove in two runs. Alexis Kelsey (4-2) was the winning pitcher.

The Xavier Saints picked up two victories Saturday in the tournament. The Saints topped Vinton-Shellsburg, 10-0, in five innings and trimmed Bettendorf, 6-4.

Jacey Wiebold was the winning pitcher for Xavier against Vinton-Shellsburg and Erin Drahozal got the win against Bettendorf.

Kennedy nipped New Hampton, 3-2, and lost to Northeast, 12-8.

Washington trimmed Alburnett, 6-3, and lost to Fort Dodge, 5-4.
