Abby Phillips added to her career record with 15 digs Tuesday night as Marion swept Vinton-Shellsburg, 25-15, 25-13, 25-18, in a Wamac Conference volleyball match in Marion.

Phillips has broken the career record of 1,410 digs formerly held by Brittney Thomas.

Alyssa Thomas collected nine kills for the Indians. Johanna Steggall had eight kills and Kaela Halvorson six.

Amanda Sahm had 29 assists. Alyssa Thomas went 10-for-10 on serves.
