Indians fall to Bobcats in OT

Nate Woeste scored 20 points and Ben Twedt added 18 Friday night as Benton Community trimmed Marion, 79-72, in overtime in a Wamac Conference game at Marion.

Craig Engle popped in 22 points for Marion (2-3, 2-2). Daly Quinn scored 16 points and Quinn Cannoy had 15.

Benton lifted its record to 3-2 overall and 3-1 in the Wamac.

 

BENTON (79): Twedt 9 0-1 18, Schroeder 2 5-5 9, Woeste 5 7-9 20, Touro 1 0-0 2, Morris 1 4-4 6, Hopkins 4 4-5 13, Zittergruen 1 0-0 2, Semelroth 2 4-5 9. Totals 25 24-29 79.
