Printy leads Washington boys past East

Jared Printy scored 14 points to lead a quartet of Washington scorers in double figures and the Warriors downed Waterloo East, 65-56, Tuesday in a boys basketball game at Washington.

Razadon Taylor scored 12 points, Jake Kramer 11 and Maurice Arrington 10 for Washington.

The game was tied at halftime, 28-28. Washington used a 16-9 advantage in the third quarter to build a seven-point lead. The Warriors outscored the Trojans 21-19 in a wild fourth quarter.

WATERLOO EAST (56): Nash 1 1-4 3, Sales 5 1-2 13, Bradford 3 0-0 9, Sanders 0 1-2 1, Buford 4 1-2 9, Terry 8 0-1 19, Greer 1 0-0 2, Campbell 0 0-0 0. Totals 22 4-11 56.
