ORLANDO, Fla. - Coe won twice in doubles and edged Evangel, 5-4, in women's tennis Monday at the Lake Cane Tennis Park.

Coe's No.3 doubles team of Sarah Lasecki, a freshman from Kennedy, and Tamara Washington won 8-0.

Former Xavier prep Laura Birky, a sophomore, teamed with Diannah Watson at No.2 doubles for an 8-4 win.

Birky also won at No.4 singles, 6-0, 7-5. She was the only Kohawk to post a pair of wins.

Coe (13-1) returns to the courts Tuesday against Trine and Nova Southeastern, at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
