Jacob Timm collected a double-double Wednesday night with 13 points and 10 assists as Coe trumped Monmouth, 87-64, in a non-conference basketball game at Eby Fieldhouse.

JT Vonderhaar led the Kohawks (2-1) with 18 points. Christian Fahey, Matt Vonderhaar and Max Schmarzo scored 12 points apiece as five Kohawks reached double figures.

Will Jones scored 14 points for Monmouth (1-1).

Coe was hot from the field, hitting 34 of 53 overall (64.2 percent) and 10 of 17 from behind the 3-point arc (58.8 percent). Schmarzo made four triples for the Kohawks.

Coe led 42-36 at halftime, then outscored the visitors 45-28 in the second stanza.
