Linn-Mar senior Matt Wempen has accepted an offer to join the University of Iowa wrestling program, according to an article in Saturday's Gazette.

Wempen was a Class 4A state champion as a freshman in 2012 and a four-time place-winner. He finished third at the state meet this year.
