WATERLOO - The Xavier softball team collected a pair of shutouts against Waterloo East Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference doubleheader in Waterloo, 2-0 and 13-0.

Erin Drahozal and Kylie Oldridge were the winning pitchers for the Saints.

Drahozal and Steph Wehr were 2-for-3 for Xavier in the first game.

Morgan Breitbach went 3-for-3 and scored three runs in the second game. Charlotte Richards was 2-for-2 and scored twice.

The Saints have raised their records to 6-4 overall and 6-4 in the conference with a five-game winning streak. Waterloo East fell to 2-8 overall and 2-6 in the MVC.
