AMES - The Cedar Rapids Prairie boys basketball team scored only 20 points Saturday and lost to the Ames Little Cyclones, 40-20, in a slowdown in Ames.
Max Smith-Drahos led Prairie (6-7) with 10 points. Cal Clark scored eight points and Jalen Rima had two points to account for all the markers.
Colby Shane scored 13 points for Ames (11-3).
Prairie scored 11 points in the first half and had nine points in the second half.
