NOBLESVILLE, Ind. - The second round of the Purgatory Intercollegiate golf tournament was rained out Saturday, shrinking the event to the 18 holes that were played Friday.

William Bruyeres of Mount Mercy fired a 1-under-par 71 Friday and tied for eighth place, four shots behind the leaders.

Natalea Cook of Mount Mercy shot a 4-over 76 Friday and tied for eighth place in the women's standings.

The Mount Mercy women placed fourth in the team standings and the Mount Mercy men finished in ninth place.
