The coaches who vote in the high school baseball poll still think Cedar Rapids Kennedy has the top Class 4A team in the state.
The Cougars (14-2) have topped the rankings all season and continued to sit in the No. 1 spot in the new IHSBCA poll released Monday.
Kennedy did nothing to dispel those thoughts in a doubleheader sweep of Dubuque Hempstead, 11-0 and 9-0, Monday.
Ankeny, Dowling Catholic and Waukee are ranked 2-3-4 in Class 4A. Iowa City West is fifth and Iowa City High is 10th.
Sioux City Heelan (3A), Davis County (2A) and Council Bluffs St. Albert (1A) are ranked No. 1 in the other divisions.
