Keely Pernicka powers Warriors past Hawks

Keely Pernicka rolled a 209 high game en route to a 381 series that carried Washington past Prairie, 2498-2256, on Dec. 17 in a Mississippi Valley Conference girls bowling meet at Lancer Lanes.

The Warriors (2-2) built a 150-pin lead in the first round and stretched it during the Baker round.

Katlynn Palmer had a 202 game and a 389 high series for Prairie (2-2).

 PRAIRIE (2256): Niona Bruce 148-276, Katlynn Palmer 202-389, Jami Kadolph 173-329, Rebecca Kacena 134-256, Brianna Wagner 158-304.

WASHINGTON (2498): Rachel Spencer 180-341, Keely Pernicka 209-381, Olivia LaGrange 161-293, Courtney Snodgrass 170-327, Ashley Duffy 189-362.

First round — Washington 1704, Prairie 1554. Baker round — Washington 794, Prairie 702.
