Mitch Willems shot a 36 for medalist honors and he led Jefferson to a five-stroke victory at the Jefferson boys golf triangular meet Thursday at Jones Park.

Jefferson finished with a 157. Waterloo West was next at 162 and Iowa City High had 165.

Jake Van Oort shot a 38 for the J-Hawks. Seventh man Gavin Williams shot a 40 that turned what appeared to be a tie with West into a five-stroke win.
