Kennedy senior Jordan Calef and Xavier sophomore Kayla Torson were unanimous selections on the all-Metro Volleyball team announced Thursday.

The team was selected by a vote of Metro coaches.

Xavier and Washington were the only schools to claim two spots on the first team. Torson was joined by teammate Sarah Homan.

Washington's first team players are Hanna Reese and Dani Franklin.

Prairie's Becca Bell, Marion's Abby Phillips and Linn-Mar's Megan Allmandinger round out the first unit.

Barb Sullivan of Xavier was named the Metro Coach of the Year.
