Amanda Sahm dished out 51 assists and Alyssa Thomas had 22 kills Tuesday night as the 10th-ranked Marion Indians edged Williamsburg, 25-15, 23-25, 25-21, 21-25, 16-14, in a Wamac Conference volleyball match at Marion.

Thomas had nine of her kills in the decisive fifth game.

Olivia Frazier collected 11 kills for Marion. Johanna Steggall and Kaela Halvorson had eight apiece.

Abby Phillips led the Indians with 17 digs. Steggall had 13, Sahm eight and Tanea Westhoff eight.

Thomas blocked four shots and Halvorson swatted three shots.

Sahm went 20 for 20 on serves. Steggall was 23 for 25 with two aces. Thomas went 17 for 18 and Halvorson was 9 for 9.
