Larkin, Oglevie honored by USHL

Ryan Larkin and Andrew Oglevie of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders were honored Monday by the United States Hockey League.

Larkin, 17, was named the Goaltender of the Week for his performance in a 5-0 victory at Youngstown Saturday. He stopped 46 shots, the most by a USHL goalie in a shutout this season.

Larkin leads all USHL goaltenders with a 2.05 goals against average and a 93.1 save percentage. He has compiled an 11-4-0 record with the

RoughRiders.

Larkin, from Clarkston, Mich., has committed to Miami (Ohio). He shared the weekly award with Lassi Yrjola of the Chicago Steel.

Oglevie, 19, was named the Forward of the Week for his performances in two victories at Youngstown this past weekend. He collected two goals and three assists, moving him into a tie for third place in USHL scoring with 42 points.

Oglevie, from Fullerton, Calif., has committed to Notre Dame. He leads the USHL with a plus-31 rating. He shared the weekly award with Kieffer Bellows of Sioux Falls.
