Jefferson dropped two spots to No. 7 in this week's IGHSAU Class 5A softball poll.

The J-Hawks were beaten by No. 1 Des Moines East and unranked Johnston last week, moving them down from the No. 5 spot.

Jefferson is the only Metro team in the rankings.
