Ulmer gets 3 TDs for Cedar Valley

WYOMING - Kenan Ulmer passed for two touchdowns and ran for another Friday night for Cedar Valley Christian in a 64-18 loss at Midland of Wyoming.

Ulmer connected with Caleb Severson for a 70-yard touchdown play in the first quarter and hit Eric Gustafson with a 10-yard pass in the second quarter.

Ulmer scrambled for a 21-yard touchdown run on the final play of the first half as the Huskies (0-5) scored all their points in the opening 24 minutes.

Cedar Valley blanked by Cal-Wheatland

WHEATLAND - The Cedar Valley Christian volleyball team was swept by Calamus-Wheatland, 26-24, 25-10, 25-16, at Wheatland Thursday night.

Samantha Smith had seven digs for the Huskies. Grace Etzel had six digs and Shelby Hembera contributed five kills.

Huskies fall at Lansing Kee, 59-14

LANSING - Kenan Ulmer scored two touchdowns for Cedar Valley Christian Friday night in a 59-14 loss at Lansing Kee.

Ulmer had scoring runs of 33 and 23 yards in the fourth quarter after Lansing Kee (3-3, 3-1) had built a 59-0 lead. The score was 53-0 at halftime, igniting a continuous clock for the second half.

Cedar Valley (0-4, 0-3) has been outscored, 287-32, in its four games this year.

Huskies fall to East Buchanan

Cedar Valley Christian was upended by East Buchanan in three sets Thursday in a Tri-Rivers volleyball match at Cedar Valley.

East Buchanan won by scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-20.

Maria Sequeira had four assists and Jessie Walsh had seven digs for the Huskies (9-10, 1-2).

Cedar Valley spiked by Bellevue Marquette

The Cedar Valley Christian volleyball team lost to Bellevue Marquette, 25-23, 25-9, 25-16, in a match at home Tuesday night.

Samantha Smith had five kills and six digs for Cedar Valley Christian. Maria Sequeria contributed five assists and four digs. Jessie Walsh had five kills and four digs.

The Huskies fell to 9-9 for the season.
