Kernels dumped by hot River Bandits

The Quad Cities River Bandits spanked the Kernels, 10-3, before 2,439 fans at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

The Kernels had not allowed more than six runs in a game this season, but the River Bandits scored six times in the first three innings and proceeded to the easy victory from there.
