IOWA CITY - Linn-Mar dropped a pair of games Saturday in the Iowa City West softball tournament.
The Lions were beaten by Centerville, 5-2, and Muscatine, 12-2. The latter game was five innings.
In the first game, eighth grader Christina Lincoln drove in both of Linn-Mar's runs. Freshman Katie Andersen took the loss.
Muscatine scored six runs in the fourth inning of the nightcap and rolled to the win. The Muskies are ranked fourth in Class 5A.
Sophomore pitcher Maddy Ryan had two hits for the Lions (3-6).
