Hart leads Saints with 367 series

Charlie Hart rolled a 209 game and a 367 series to lead the Xavier boys bowling team in a 2,925 to 2,459 loss to Dubuque Senior on Friday at May City Bowl.

Brandon Birch led the Rams with a 414 series.

Blood, Sundstrom lead Prairie girls

The Prairie girls bowling team cruised to a 2,784 to 2,284 win over Dubuque Wahlert on Friday at Lancer Lanes.

Rylee Blood had a 225 game and Ashley Sundstrom had a 391 series to lead the Prairie Hawks.

Cindy Stierman rolled a 350 series for the Golden Eagles.

Shawn White had a high game of 247 and a high series of 413 to lead the Prairie boys bowling team in a 2,742 to 2,652 loss to Dubuque Wahlert on Friday at Lancer Lanes.

Matt Bahl had a 412 series for the Golden Eagles.

CVC girls topped by Cal-Wheatland

WHEATLAND – The Cedar Valley Christian girls basketball team had its winning streak ended at two games with a 73-46 loss to Calamus-Wheatland on Friday.

Candace Wilson scored 25 points for the Huskies, Molly Hembera had eight points and five rebounds, and Maggie Cach had six points and also grabbed five rebounds.

Cedar Valley Christian fell to 2-6.

WATERLOO – The Waterloo West boys bowling team beat Linn-Mar 2,932 pins to 2,788 Friday.

Alex Diercks rolled a 223 game and a 439 series for the Lions.
